Colorado Springs Climate Information
Located at the base of the Rocky Mountains the Colorado Springs area has over 300 days of sunshine a year. Colorado Springs has a relatively mild and dry climate. We generally have fairly dry winters with occasional snow fall. The snow here doesnt stay on the ground long as our winter temperatures range widely and we can see snow and cold on one day followed by sunshine and 50-60 degrees the next. Spring brings about our largest temperature swings and also our most precipitation. During the spring time we can see snow, rain, wind, cool weather to unseasonably warm weather. Colorado Springs sees relatively low humidity summers with warm temperatures during the day with occasional thunderstorms and very pleasant evening temperatures.
